The Social Media Conference Northwest will be held at McIntyre Hall Performing Arts & Conference Center located at 2501 East College Way in Mount Vernon, WA 98273.
McIntyre Hall Performing Arts Center is a state of the art 700 seat theatre and conference center designed by LMN Architects, the design team for Benaroya Hall in Seattle. McIntyre Hall serves as a regional venue for performances of all kinds including but not limited to Skagit County’s own Symphony, Opera, Ballet and Theatre Companies to national and international artists. The McIntyre event facilities will provide a unique and inspiring environment for our second annual Social Media Conference.
Getting to the Conference
The McIntyre Hall is located in beautiful Skagit Valley 90 minutes north of Seattle, WA and 90 minutes south of Vancouver, BC, in Mount Vernon at 2501 East College Way. Directions:
- From Interstate 5 (I-5) North or South
- Take Exit Number 227, College Way
- Go East on College Way until you pass the light at LaVenture Ave. There are 6 stop lights – the map shows 3
- Pass the entrance to Skagit Valley College on your left
- Pass McIntyre Hall on your left then turn left into the McIntyre Hall parking area
- The entrance to the Theatre will be on your left & Free parking will be on your right
- 2501 East College Way, Mount Vernon, WA 98273
Conference Facilities
The Social media conference plenary sessions will be held in the Performing Arts Hall.
The McIntyre Hall is wireless, so you are encouraged to bring a laptop computer or other mobile device. A password to access the internet will be given to you with your conference packet. We ask that you turn off your cell phone ringers during the speaker sessions and lunch.
The conference will include a continental breakfast, and family-style lunch. A vegetarian option is available on request. Refreshments including coffee, water and snacks will be provided at the morning and afternoon breaks in the Conference Center and Lobby. Please note no food or drinks are allowed in the Performing Arts Hall.

Mount Vernon is in close proximity (90 minutes) to the metropolitan cities of Seattle, WA to the south and Vancouver, BC to the north.
